ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2013
This ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2013 designation recognizes the most efficient products among those that qualify for ENERGY STAR®. These exceptional products represent the leading edge in energy efficient products this year. A Most Efficient product is the best in its class of ENERGY STAR qualified products in terms of efficiency, and often has other special features as well.
Choosing ENERGY STAR qualified products that have a Most Efficient 2013 designation will help consumers reduce their energy bills, motivate manufacturers to innovate, and help the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Started as a pilot project in collaboration with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in May 2011, the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designation is now a full-fledged offering which NRCan will be administering annually with the EPA.
Canadians can search for ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2013 Windows via NRCan’s own database. All other Most Efficient 2013 products are listed on the EPA web site via the links below. (When you click on the links, you will be taken to a product list on the EPA’s ENERGY STAR web site.) Many of the products listed are available in Canada. Over the next few months, the EPA will be offering an interactive searchable database where you will be able to single out only products available in Canada, to make your searches even easier.
