The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published the ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard on June 15, 2011. To read the complete version, please visit the ISO Web site.

The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has adopted this standard and published a Canadian version, entitled CAN/CSA-ISO 50001, Energy Management Systems. More details are available on the CSA Web site.
