A room air cleaner is a portable, electric, cord-connected appliance that removes fine particle matter from room air.

ENERGY STAR^® qualified room air cleaners are 40% more efficient than standard models. They use less energy to remove particles from indoor air, such as pollen or dust. Air cleaners with functions such as a clock or remote control consume less than 2 watts while in standby mode.
