Training and Workshops for New Buildings

The Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) can help you obtain essential training to maximize potential savings in your energy efficiency projects.

For information on dates and locations of workshops, visit the calendar of events.

EE4 Training

This two-day workshop is aimed at providing sound, practical knowledge to architects, engineers and other design professionals on how to simulate the energy performance of new building designs using EE4 software.

Introduction to the Model National Energy Code for Buildings (MNECB)

The OEE and our stakeholder organizations offer training on how to interpret and apply the Model National Energy Code for Buildings (MNECB).

Charrettes / Integrated Design Process (IDP) Workshops

We occasionally offer these workshops in collaboration with our stakeholder organizations. These aim to create an environment which encourages exchanges between the various sectors involved in the construction of a new building so that the design is as energy efficient as possible.
