Your environment. Your concerns. Your label.
An EnerGuide label details a vehicle’s city and highway fuel-consumption rating, and the cost of fuelling the vehicle each year. You can find the label affixed to the windows of all new cars, trucks, vans and special purpose vehicles sold in Canada. Its distinctive fuel-pump logo makes it easy to spot!

If the EnerGuide label on a vehicle you’re considering to buy has fallen off or becomes illegible, ask the dealer for either a copy of the label or the manufacturer’s approved fuel-consumption rating. You can confirm the rating in Natural Resources Canada’s annual Fuel Consumption Guide.
